Soft pastels 2012

My thought for today is: Where do my ideas come from? Then I decided to present few soft pastels I did in 2012. You get the exhibition  in the form of very simple collages. I drew them in self-automatic and expressive way as images of in-laid visions as results of half-unconscious conceptions. I like the way very much because its authentic and  truth. Otherwise if the unconscious thing does out into a picture it becomes in the same moment conscious automatically.

Hello!

Hi!

Few words about me. My name is Krzysiek. I was born in Gdansk and grew up in Gdynia those are the cities in Poland on the coast of the Baltic Sea but few years ago I moved to London.

My interests are playing- composing music and creative writing as well as painting and drawing.

I would like to present you the web-blog as a kind of my small gallery with digital versions of my drawings and paintings. Part of them I present in original colours. For other works I used originals as a source for further work with a graphic software to get a modified digital version of a picture. Something like mixed media digital art. For example: I start an illustration with pastels then I try to scan it and work with it on my computer. Then I use a printing machine and from time to time pastels again on the top of the image. Another example: first an acrylic activity then scanning and computer dressing- finished!

Material and mediums I do usually are acrylic paint, oil and soft pastel, charcoal, markers, coloured pencils. For painting I use what I can find on streets like wood boards, pieces of wallpaper etc. as well as canvas and prepared paper

Directions of my activity? I don’t know. I have not a special philosophy maybe except one: – Simply do it!

Tx!
